About the Game
Russian Poker is a game where players try to beat the dealer with a better five-card hand. Using a standard 52-card deck, each player makes an Ante bet to receive five face-up cards, while the dealer has one face-up card. Players can choose to Fold, Bet, buy a 6th card, or Draw.
Step-by-Step Gameplay
In Russian Poker, the game is set up for quick and easy play. Follow these sequential steps to play a round:
1. Place Your Bets: Choose your chip value using the arrow keys (Min: GH₵ 0.5, Max: GH₵ 100)
2. Ante Bet: Place your bet on the mandatory (Ante) to participate.
3. The Deal: Tap DEAL and the dealer deals five cards face down to the player and five to themselves, with the dealer's last card revealed face up.
4. Player Decisions: After viewing your cards, you can choose one of four actions:
Buy: Pay 2x the Ante to buy a 6th card.
Fold: Surrender your hand and lose your Bet.
Draw: Pay 1x Ante to exchange cards. You can exchange just one card or all of them
Bet: If you decide to place a bet, pay the 2x Ante bet and press the button.
5. Payout: The dealer reveals their remaining cards.
Deal Does Not Qualify: You win even money (1:1) on your Ante, and your Bet is returned.
Player Qualifies: If your hand is higher than the dealer's, you are paid on your Bet according to the paytable (e.g, 100:1 for a Royal Flush).
Game Features
Bonus: The Bonus bet will be paid based on your initial cards only! It is a risky play, but payouts are worth the risk.
Insurance: If you have "Three of a kind" or better, you can insure your hand against the dealer's "not qualified" for at least your Ante bet. If you have two combinations, you can insure both. If the dealer qualifies, you can win, tie, or lose. If the dealer doesn't qualify, you can buy a card for the dealer for the cost of your Ante bet.
