Futsal is the FIFA-recognised form of small-sided indoor football (the word is a contraction of the Spanish 'fútbol sala'). It is played between two teams who each have five players on the pitch at any one time, with rolling substitutes and a smaller ball than soccer that is harder and less bouncy.
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court like a basketball court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors.
Every team has their collective fouls Sum up and on the sixth foul, the opponent has one (free kick) in their favor. In which the striker is face-to-face with the goalkeeper from a distance of 10 meters. So a kind of penalty if you like. Players still have the option to take the kick at the place where the sixth foul was committed at a more advantageous angle and in the same way without a barrier.
Is there an offside in futsal?
There is no offside rule in Futsal. Up to 10 players can be used in a match and there is no limit on how long a player must stay on the field, nor is a stoppage required for player substitutions, which are permitted during play. Players substituting must enter and leave the field from designated area.
- A goal may not be scored if a goalkeeper punts, or dropkicks a ball into other team's goal
- A goal may be scored if a goalkeeper throws, kicks, or drops a ball into their own goal ○ A goal MAY be scored from a kickoff
- A goal may be scored with the head in the goal box, but only directly off corner kicks.
In Futsal, players use their heads more, even though the ball rarely touches it. Futsal is the thinking player's game.
